CAN I CHANGE THE PROVIDED DOMAIN NAME OF MY VM?
The domain name of your VM (snf-XXXXXX.vm.ok-kno.grnetcloud.net) is static and cannot change. It corresponds to a DNS entry that contains the following fields:
- An A record for each floating IP that you have attached to your VM.
- An AAAA record for the static IPv6 of your VM.
This entry, as well as the respective reverse entries, gets updated when you attach/detach an IP.
Thus, if you want a different domain name for your VM, you can acquire one from the registrar of your choice and link it with the domain name that we provide you.
